Join Artist and printmaker Antonietta Torsiello on an adventure in this exciting workshop exploring a combination of printmaking and mark making techniques to create vibrant art pieces.

With inspiration from colourful birds, insects, flowers, and a variety of interesting, patterned fabrics, you will paint, draw and collage colourful backgrounds. Finally, carve and print your own blocks to create art works that are multi-layered and striking.

Antonietta Torsiello is an award-winning artist and printmaker of Jamaican and Italian heritage from East London, UK. Mediums she works with include silkscreen, lino print, acrylic, watercolour, drawing ink, oils.

Her work discusses the complex relationships between identity, nature, cultural traditions, and her own personal experiences.

Growing up in a culturally rich area of London, Antonietta developed an appreciation of textiles and cultures which can be seen in her working style. As well as delving deep into her Jamaican and Italian culture.

She has been exhibiting her art with galleries, institutions including the OXO Tower, The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, The Prince’s Trust, University College London, Credit Suisse Bank, KPMG Bank and Transport for London since 2010. As well as running an Art product business including Art prints, greeting cards and hand printed textile products.

Antonietta delivers art programmes, projects and residencies with community members, local authorities, galleries/museums, charities, schools, and commercial clients.
