This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at Fitzwilliam Museum

The Fitzwilliam marks the Royal Academy’s 250th anniversary with works selected by Academicians throughout the year.

Joining celebrations all over the country, the Fitzwilliam has identified seven Royal Academicians who have connections with Cambridge and the museum: Eileen Cooper RA, Stephen Chambers RA, Anne Desmet RA, Antony Gormley RA, Nigel Hall RA, Mali Morris RA and Eric Parry RA. Each artist was asked to select works from the Fitzwilliam collection that they find inspiring, and to share why.

These selected works can be seen in the galleries throughout the year with special interpretation. A commemorative leaflet and special blog posts on the RA250 project, including those by artists, will also be published all year.

This exhibition is part of RA250, supported by Art Fund.
