Go on a sensory journey to explore what life is really like for our domestic animal companions – simulations will put you into the paws of your pet to better understand their behaviour, an agility slalom will see you compare your agility with that of a dog, and you can even try and jump as high as a cat or take part in interactive board games and quizzes.

The exhibition is split into four areas: ‘In Their Skin’ will take an in depth look at the many shapes and sizes of cats and dogs; ‘In Their Heads’ will investigate their behaviour, cognition, and tactile and vocal communication; and ‘In Our Society’ will explore the relationships humans have with their pets and how they have played a vital role in history, art and therapy.

Celebrate the love we have for our canine and feline pals in this family-friendly exhibition that puts you right at the centre of their world. The exhibition will even be presented in three languages: English; Spanish; and French.
