This varied display of early-career artists champions experimentation and extraordinary craftsmanship in contemporary British art.
Showcasing the work of five early-career artists and makers, this exhibition provides a snapshot into some of the most exciting work being produced by UK-based artists now. Covering a range of mediums including glass, textiles, silversmithing and digital modelling, the works are linked by their common themes, from exploring the boundaries of innovation and tradition, to investigating repetition.
The selected artists, Anna Berry, Cecilia Charlton, Jahday Ford, Vicky Higginson and Francisca Onumah and Helena Russell, are all in the first 10 years of establishing their practice and have each been awarded £10,000 to make new work over a 12-month period.
