The Kirkcaldy Galleries house a local history collection and wonderful examples of Scottish art.
The museum features an award-winning permanent local history display, and there's a lively exhibition programme of art, craft, history and photography.
Highlights of the collection include late Victorian and early 20th-century Scottish painting, with an extensive body of work by William McTaggart and the Glasgow Boys. Contemporary artists – including Jack Vettriano – are also represented.
