Dedicated to promoting artists living and working in Wales, MOMA is a hub of modern and contemporary art in the Powys market town of Machynlleth.

Housed inside a converted chapel, there are an impressive seven galleries and the Tabernacle Concert Hall to explore, showcasing contemporary art from Wales and around the world, with a special focus on Welsh art and artists.

Notable artists whose works grace the collection include fine artist Annie Ovenden and portrait and landscape painter Gladys Vasey with everything from painting, drawing and photography to mixed media, sculpture and textiles on display.

There is a rolling programme of exhibitions year-round, with most of the works displayed also up for sale, plus events covering everything from classical music to visual comedy.
